The crystal ball says the next commitment will be

Really taking a risk with that prediction, huh :D

In all seriousness though, thought he was going to address his concerns by the weekend and should have already made it official. What seems to be the hold up?

Wow Hivered…You really went out on a limb there…Why so bold? :laugher:

I too thought that Cooper would have officially committed by now. He is one that I will not be completely comfortable with until he signs the dotted line. Don’t get me wrong, I am excited to have him, I just know that we were not his first choice and it is showing.

It will be official Wednesday.
I would not necessarily say we were not his first choice all along. Lets just say this recruiting process for Taylor has been a little bit different all the way around.

And to think......

....we'll "only" be about ½-done!

Boy, recruiting has changed a lot in the last few years.....never mind the changes in the last 30!

#10 commitment this year.

For those keeping score against last year, we had 11 last year as of August 30...then added 2 more on August 31.

Are there any other guys with interest in GT making decisions in the near future?

There are a lot of "any day" decisions...could be tomorrow...could be next month.

If I had to guess, Jon Lockhart will make his decision next.

There are always a lot of players around the country that commit just as school is starting back. If we can get a few of those, you may see a snowball effect, especially at the linebacker and safety positions.

The safety position won't be closed at least until Sept 15th.

I assume you're referring to Brandon Leslie and his visit date scheduled for 9/15. He also has a visit with Nebraska set for 9/29. Unless he doesn't plan to honor that visit, I'd say we're looking at an October commit. He's ours to lose though - from all that I have read and from this comment:

"If I had to say if anyone had an edge it would be Georgia Tech."

I think Uzzi or Lockhart could be next.

Maybe both...

Uzzi will be on campus again this Saturday and with his mother this time. I think that this is a good sign.

Lockhart has had zero getty-up when it comes to scheduling his visit to Vandy. I have heard that he may not even take that visit. If he does, it may just be because he had already told Vandy that he would and they are pressuring him to do so. That sounds to me like he has already made up his mind.
