The diesel is back!

Not exactly sure why both Jahi and Vance didn't get to play last Thursday. Throughout the entire week, I read and heard that Josh was not expected to start but both Jahi and Vance were good to go. Then out comes Josh (thankfully) and Jahi and Vance were in "emergency only" mode. Maybe it was all part of the plan, to spread disinformation.

Too bad Dominique and Sedric got hurt; otherwise, we would have been as close to 100% as we were ever going to get this season.

THWG!

Not sure where you got your info. What I read was pretty definite about Josh playing, and pretty clear that Jahi and Vance were out.

Ga. Tech QB Nesbitt may not be ready for Miami

Walker and Word-Daniels, for whom Thursday will be their final home game, indicated they have a good chance of playing. Nesbitt was noncommittal.

Nesbitt, who like Walker sprained his ankle against North Carolina on Nov. 8, said he felt “pretty good” but did not run full speed.

Asked about his chances of playing, Nesbitt said, “Who knows? I’ll just go back out [today] and try it again.”

Word-Daniels, who has not played the past three games after injuring his hamstring against Clemson, ran hard and participated in drills to see how his leg would react.

“Based on how I feel today, I should be able to go,” Word-Daniel said. “But it’s not certain.”

In retrospect, CPJ said in his radio show that he had a feeling that Josh would start.

The article is from LAST Monday (11/17).

Yea, sorry, I was talking about the "news" up to the Miami game because I was surprised to see both Jahi and Vance miss that game. That article I quoted made it sound like both of those guys were expected to be able to play against Miami.

Hope the extra week or two since our last game helped the guys heal a bit.
