that both Musa Smith and Fred Gibson are both having surgery this week on injured thumbs. They said WSB in Atlanta reported this. Has anyone else heard this?

I think that's right about Gibson, but not about Smith. Smith's thumb is broken, but I don't think he needs surgery.

Stinchcomb is questionable for Kentucky as well.

Well, dang.

This Kentucky game scares me. They aren't half bad and we're gonna need a lot of offense to counter Godzilla. Trouble lurks in regard to our dream season.

Dave, I have mixed emotions on the UGA/Kentucky game. I have always been basically for the underdog, which is Kentucky , in this game.

Of course, my favorite team is GT, but my next favorite team is UGA. I did not attend either school, but happened to start following college football in the late 40s when Dodd was at Tech. So, naturally, I became a Tech fan.

I am partial to all the colleges in the State of Georgia. However, since Kentucky has had such a rough time lately, I have been pulling for them this year. I would say, "good luck" against them, but part of me is pulling for them.

I do believe they can be a dangerous team for Georgia this year. Enjoy the changing leaves on the way up to the game.
