Well I got it downloaded--anyway to convert to avi or other formats?
 
mkv2vob converts to several other formats including avi, mpg, and vob.

You should be able to tell your bittorrent client to cap uploads at a certain rate. Go run a speedtest (speakeasy.net) and set the maximum bittorrent upload rate to about 90% of your speedtest's upload rate. You should then be able to multitask without any issues.

For the record, after converting to .vob format for the PS3 I was able to burn it to a 1-layer DVD with 122 MB to spare. It looks gorgeous on my TV...

If you happen to be using a Linksys WRT54G (one of the most common wireless routers) then flash the factory firmware with Tomato. Turns the functionality into a pro-level router. You can rate web browsing with the highest Quality of Service and BitTorrent traffic with the lowest... Then you don't have to muck around with caps as any web requests you make move to the front of the line.

For ****s and giggles I gave the third quarter highest priority just to relive the glory. OMFG does not do it justice. Props to whomever slapped this together... No commercial to boot!

Now I just gotta figure out how to make a decent DVD out of it.

What kind of DVD player do you have? Basically I turned it into a compressed HD format the PS3 could understand and burned them to a DVD. What I did won't work in a regular DVD player...

If there are others on there that have it I would have gotten my wife to take it off of Alliance. I can't go downloading it on company tubes.

What are my options as far as transferring this thing directly from my Mac to my PS3?
