People still thought the Mayan Apocalypse was imminent.

If you had taken out a 48 month car loan on that date, your car would now be paid off.

A baby born then - even if it was the slowest to learn - would be fully potty trained by now.

Win next year at home and there is no spin for them. 3 out of last 4. Last 2 in Athens. CPJ 3-2 in Athens. We're one win away from turning the tide
That's why 2013 stills bugs the crap out of me. We had the knife on the jugular and went into frickin prevent D going into half time and let them march down the field on our white secondary.

2009 and 2010 get me too. Everyone looks at 2009 as the game we should have won, but I almost feel more so about 2010. I remember two fumbles as we were about to score...

Most painful UGA loss I've experienced. We had that game and gave it away. 4th and 6. I think it evens out though. Refs could've called the Qua dive a fumble, Butker could've missed the FG, etc. We deserve 2-2 over the last four

Despite all our struggles in the series, we're 5-5 in Athens since 1998.

We win @BDS in '17 -we're due. I guess the last BDS win was '99 -the last time I was IN BDS for a win vs UGA was '85 -hell I was barely drinking age (which was 20 at the time IIRC).

When Vad overthrew a wide open Laskey on the wheel route close to the end of the first half - that would have put us up 27 to zero. That is the moment I realized that we were going to lose. He could have walked after he caught the ball and still scored - he was that wide open.

That game was absolutely brutal. I was right there with you, the way we went into halftime I knew I'd seen that script before and the game was over. Hopefully those days are behind us.

I spent a lot of time trying to forget the 2013 game. At half time I remember getting mad at Corndog for being pessimistic even though we were up by 13. I don't remember much from the second half so I was probably yelling the whole time. This game is also the reason why I was happy when Vad Lee decided to leave. Good fuckin riddance.

Until reading this thread, I had completely blocked that game out. Couldn't remember it at all until 00Burdell's Laskey wheel route reference.

öööö.

I have yet to read about that game on ESPN.com or the AJC. Won't do it until we win at home.

And not only do I want to win at home, I want to take a knee in victory formation (99 was an OT FG...)

Is Kirby losing recruits over this season, yet? I bet he does. Then he'll go into 17 without Chubb and Michel and we'll beat beat them in Atlanta to cap their 7 loss season.

I'm hoping for maximum butt hurt for every game against UGA. Here's to a GT repeat of the last FSU game, but next time against UGA. Followed by a pick six as time expires to beat UGA in 2018. Next will be a sheer massacre, having UGA lose by their largest margin in the modern football era. Repeat the cycle ad infinitum.
