The probability that the successful candidate was the #1 or #2 choice starts dropping like a rock.

I have it from an impeccable source that Gailey wasn't anyone’s choice; he was left of Clough's doorstep in the middle of the night.

I think the longer this goes on the more likely SMU is to pony up (apparently their big $$$ goes are going north of $2M to outdo out big $$$ idiots), and the less likely PJ is to take a significant pay cut to coach on the flats.

Normally, this would make me happy because I prefer RN and CH to PJ (with WM my #1) but I have no idea what to expect if PJ is ruled out. I still don't think RN will get approval and so who knows...
