We cannot afford to lose Giff. If the new HC does not want him on the coaching staff then move him in the office next to DRAD and pay him the $$$ necessary.

Again...we cannot afford to "force" a new coach to keep any assistant(s). If he interviews the assistants and decides to retain them, that's fine.

Is that what he wants? Money may be a short term motivator but if he wants to coach then he won't be in that role long.
 
Good question. I don't know. I did not think about his coaching aspirations. I was simply being selfish and stating I did not want to lose him!

Agree as well.

Those two criteria should give us a better idea of who we should hire, in my opinion.
 
I've heard Giff, BJM, and Charles Kelly are all staying...so that bodes REALLY well for our recruiting.
