we dont REALLY know what kind of QB Suggs is. Is there someone on here that can confidently say that if Fridge had Suggs up at MD that suggs would not kick OUR ass in a week and 1/2?

the bottom line is BOB has failed this team and the fans.

We shoved him down Gailey's throat and now we are all paying the price. the last coach we tried to shove down the fans throat was B___ L****. We paid the price then too.

I DO NOT think BOB and CG are working out. I am sure there is somebody CG would have rather brought in.

IMO

I don't think this is just BOB's fault. I still look back to the seatle bowl and think that was a pure BOB game. I'll give BOB the benefit of the doubt. It seems that when we are in the two minute offense, the play calling is more Friedgen-esque. My guess (and it is only a guess) is that Gailey has the handcuffs on BOB even moreso than O'leary did.

I'd hate to think what type of OC Gailey would bring in here. I'm not impressed with a single coach at this point.

Their performance so far has been absolutely PATHETIC.

Get ready for 3 more years of mediocrity.

Yes the sky is falling.

I disagree that CG is the problem. CG was running pro offenses. He had a job when he left and was fought over by many successful coaches.

He is a pro coordinator. If there is a WEAK link in the chain it is BOB which we SHOVED down CG's throat.

Law-bee, I tend to agree with your assessment. All athletes are different and have their own physical strengths and weaknesses. Godsey had some strengths and weaknesses, and it took a good coach to mold the offense to his traits.

While it may be true, Bilbo is quicker and has more pure athletic ability, if the coach cannot mold the offense around his assets for maximum efficiency, he too, could appear to be ineffective after the defenses learn his style.

It is the offensive coach that must continue to change the offense to take advantage of the weaknesses of the opposing defense and, at the same time, the strengths of the quarterback in the game.

These are the coaches that succeed.

Today was not just the O's fault, however, if O had controlled the clock, maybe D would have been better. As it is, D looked even worse.

I'm feeling more and more like O'Brien needs to focus more on coaching the offense and let someone else coach the QB's. He doesn't seem to be doing both very well. After all, THIS Is his first year attempting to do BOTH since Godsey ALREADY knew the system.

Time to go back to the drawing board.

Beeware and all his buddies keep throwing comments out about "how great BOB was in the Seattle Bowl....blah, blah, blah...." Well we've now seen BOB in action for a full season and a half, and the offense has been mediocre at best.

NEWS FLASH FOR BEEWARE AND FRIENDS:

Maybe the Seattle Bowl was the fluke game.

How many chances do you give a player to perform? 3 games, half a season, a fulll season, an entire college career......??? Its obvious that changes need to be made. When will we make them?

And one off topic remark......UGA has got to be the luckiest team in the nation. Everyone get ready for the Bulldogs to go undefeated this year.

Go Jackets!

I have not seen any posts by BeeWare, so maybe he can not post. If so, it would be totally unfair for any of us to use BeeWare in our description of the present affairs or the failure of BOB. Let's be nice and don't take unfair advantage of BeeWare at this time.

If he respond's with some posts, then he becomes fair game again.

I agree AHSO. BeeWare is not all bad. Many of the
things he has posted were well thought out. I think what has bothered most of us is that BeeWare
wore out his complaints by being so repetitive and
never introducing new topics for criticism.

Law Bee you are so right .I believe Gailey being a man of character is being patient with BOB mabe to patient but patient anyway.
