It's finally here. The biggest game of the season: The GT - U[sic]GA game. We are 8-3, exceeding expectations, and I don't think that anyone could be happier right now.

The reason I wanted to start this thread was to actually talk about what we have to do to defeat the nad lickers. I haven't watched any of their games this year, but I am sure many of you have. I would like some of you to comment on some of your observances, such as what has stopped them and what has failed miserably (i.e. what UF and Alabama did as opposed to LSU).

Has UGA played against run heavy teams, and if so, how have they faired against them?

I know that turnovers/turnover margin, as in every game, will be key to winning; but I have no clue what this UGA squad is all about because I have neglected to watch their sorry a$$es whenever they are on TV. So please shed some wisdom on this game about what you think about this UGA football team and what we have to do to bring home the W. Please, no stupid remarks. I am looking for some real, UNBIASED (I know that may be difficult) analysis. Thanks.

In the meantime, TO HELL WITH GEORGIA!! :FIREdevil:

Gave up 38 points to UKs option attack

But to be fair no one had ever seen UK's option. The entire scheme was put in that week to fit the new QB and any team would've had trouble with it.

Still, it bodes well for another option attack. My roommate tried to bet me $100 that we wouldn't get half the rushing yards against UGA that we got against Miami, so at least the fans are already deluding themselves.

Whoever wins, it will be that team's best win of the year. That certainly wasn't supposed to be the case 4 months ago.

Alot of guys seem tentative on here about this game. I feel really good about it. No team this year has beaten us. Our losses have been because of our errors. That includes UNC.

1. We will rush for 300+ yards.
2. PJ is a better game day coach than MR.
3. We are well coached and performing well on both sides of the ball and have 9 days to get ready for them.
4. We get some key performers back from injury.
5. PJ understand the rivalry and the importance unlike our previous coach. It is not just another game.

This is our game to lose. We do what we are supposed to it is a great day in Athens. I fully expect us to win with a strong statement about the quality of Georgia Tech football and our new coach

Let's not forget it's at noon. Half their players could still be hungover or may not have posted bail by kickoff.
