The AJC says they only played once before, with UGA winning 67-0 in 1943.

I'm wondering if UGA counts that win in the record book, since all their players were off in the war?

If memory serves correctly, the war had a bye week for the Tennessee Tech game. Likewise for the Presbyterian game in 1944. Therefore, the Dawgs were at full strength and these games were untainted.

HAHA. I am fairly certain that the GT game those two years are the only games that they do not recognize, but they do print the scores in their media guide. :rolleyes:
