The UNC game is what's important now, but...

I cannot help but do this --today --right now.

BCS standings: Week 10 (Nov. 2nd)

13. Georgia (7-2)
14. Missouri (7-2)
15. BYU (8-1)
16. LSU (6-2)
17. Ball State (8-0)
18. Michigan State (8-2)
19. North Carolina (6-2)
20. Georgia Tech (7-2)

Well there it is.

After an off-season, spring, summer of hearing all about how this was going to be the year for the Georgia Bulldogs, the talented QB, the RB who can leap over people, the red and black, Dawg Nation, Know Your Dawgs, Bark Madley predicting a national championship, Black Out ...meanwhile on The Flats, a new head coach, the youngest team in the ACC, a new defensive coordinator, a new offense, an offense that won't work in the ACC, new uniforms, prognostications of three or four wins, enjoy going bowling west of the Mississippi, etc...

A lot can happen between now and the end of the season, good or bad, but right now UGA and GT are both sitting at 7-2 with six teams separating them in a November BCS poll. Not many would have thought this to be a possible scenario back during the summer.

Bark Madley is now writing articles about being wrong and Florida fans being obnoxious and calling Urban Meyer a pill (?). Jeff Schultz is writing about UGA getting a reality check and being overrated and never really belonging on the perch they were placed upon. Two ESPN bowl projection prognosticators have Georgia Tech going to a BCS bowl.

A lot can change in a week --but today, this is the world we live in.

Let's get ready for UNC!

Yes, a whole lot can change. All of these things were happening after U[sic]GA lost homecoming to Vanderbilt a couple years ago too. We need to finish out the season for it to mean anything.
