During fall practice we were told:

(1) The O-Line is much better and the competition for several positions was intense.

(2) The extra year in the TO was evident as we were much crisper in our reads, ball handling and execution.

(3) Nesbitt had improved significantly as a passer and throwing the ball would complement our running game much better.

I would say that none of those 3 have panned out as true at this point in the season. What gives? Can our coaches and other observors have been that far off the mark?

Probably the realization that all 3 of these assumptions came off of playing our Defense. Which is turning out to be the real culprit.

Also, I don't know if our A-Backs/WR's blocked like this in practice or not, but they aren't blocking now.

Can't contribute much more than unforgiven and killerbuzz. Our DL is not good. The option looks amazing against a bad DL.

Now we know why the 2010 recruiting class is so heavy on defensive players.
