Things getting tough at the CPJ household

Don't worry. He found a way to blame the execution and absolve himself of any culpability.

Good to know that at least one person has the guts to ask the tough questions.

lol, his playcalling was suspect a few times. I don't blame her...we all didn't get it. 2 and 1. Run a wide toss. 3 and 6 run the dive which you should done on 2 and 1....oh well...

And some other questions that CPJ's wife asks him....

"Why do you still keep that Sewak around?"

"Why don't you let JT take snaps out of the shotgun?"

"Have you considered letting someone else call the plays for a change?"

CPJ trolling the GT fanbase.. basically comparing us to his nagging wife.. what an ass

And yet, his explanation makes sense. Fact is, our players are missing assignments and aren't executing at the level they were previously. Can't completely ignore that.

Yes, he then said the play would have been a huge gain with if one of the blocks was executed correctly. These check downs aren't "run it up the middle," but more like "if the LG pulls, every guy on the right side will be blocked for the gap between RG and RT, because the Mike LB is blitzing the gap between C and LG." The 2nd down play before the infamous PF call on Joe would have been a huge play without a shoestring tackle, so this isn't academic.

On Bud Foster's part, it isn't like he doesn't know this but his players are fallible like GT players. If one player has the wrong assignment in mind, his defense doesn't have a huge margin of error. If you wonder why defenses call timeout "because they don't like something they see," that helps explain it. One person's bad assignment and you can get something like the big TD by Clemson on their first drive.
