The Sooner Schooner driver
although good in our books
ACCN’s summary of our game during Duke Virginia is “Miami’s missed opportunities.”
well, 3 missed chip-shot FGs does kinda translate to that.
The highlight video on ESPN was titled "Virginia Tech scores go ahead TD in OT" for a while.
I guess “Refs accidentally fail while trying to screw GT” doesn’t roll off the tongue
Well fielding a somewhat competent place kicker is part of football. If they knew they were that bad they should have just went for it. öööö Miami.
I could have sworn I heard they were Russian Assets.
Yeah, if they'd made 'em... we just would've scored more.
Always wondered what was in the back of that thing. Was kinda expecting a keg to roll out.
Haven't you heard, the tuition at the U is too high to field a competent kicker. They've petitioned the NCAA to rule them gimme's. Our game is under review if the rule passes.
If "Ifs and Buts"...
I get that most teams would have made those FGs. But, their placekickers are part of their team just as our "patchwork" OL and RS-Freshman QB are part of ours. Our team beat their team. Bottom line. Can't play "what if" on their kicks without perhaps playing "what if" on some things on our end, i.e. untimely penalties, etc.
I saw that. Can you even imagine the Reck rolling over, throwing cheerleaders everywhere? Luckily no injuries.
The Reck has a low center of gravity and a wide stance. It’s not some hillbilly chuckwagon.
With the Latin American population of Miami they can't find one soccer player that can kick a football?
I bet they're holding open tryouts on Monday. Isn't that how we got Wesley Wells?
