Go if you can - best regular road trip I've been on as far as overall experience. The Clemson fans are great.

No specific advise - just find out where the bulk of the Tech fans are tailgating & it's usually a pretty good time.

Use the back route...

DO NOT TAKE SC 19 out of anderson into CLEMSON
You WILL miss some part of the game.
Take the back route from Exit 2 through Seneca.

This is great advice! Are orange paws painted on this route?
This is the hardest place to get to going the conventional route.

It's not quite the same as tail-gating all day, but I enjoyed the last trip on the alumni bus, and that's what we are doing again this year.
There aren't any nearby hotels, and it's going to take hours to get out of there after a night game.

It's been awhile since I've been back in the Upstate.

Paws start South in Anderson up SC 19.
East in Easley on 123.
From the West, they start to show a bit before Seneca, but about 5 miles after the right turn, they're there every 20 feet or so.

Suprisingly, there aren't any on the Interstate all the way to Lake Hartwell and Greenville.

I'd love it if Tech could put banners on North Ave, Ponce, Peachtree, Northside Dr, and Tenth and 14th...it might take years to do that, or a couple bottles of Jack and Jim.

I'm game if you are old man.
