I really get peeved at throwing the ball short and hoping everything comes together just so the receiver/back can make the line to gain. I would believe there is a better chance throwing beyond the line to gain. May just be me.

Thats a fine thought if you have an OL that can actually pass block.

Same, but at the same time there is not very good protection in the pocket and I’m not sure the average 3rd down and distance we were dealing with but it seemed like a lot of >8-10 yard tries.

Is that the play where it's a slow mesh to Gibbs and he breaks two tackles before three more guys swallow him up for -2 yards? If so, I saw that one about 10 times today.
