Oddly although we are favored and should win this game , it may give a more definitive idea of Key's coaching ability .How much can he "clean up /improve " ( punt game, red-zone offense, penalties, time control, 3rd down eff) in this game --especially compared to uva. or-have we just been on a "honeymoon". I would love to beat the line by 10+ pts.

Screw beating the line. Just beat Virginia. Don't care how; don't care by how much.

At the end of the year, I just want this one to be in the W column and not the L column. Too many years we've been the favorite and those wine spritzer drinkers have thrown a monkey wrench into the system.

So many good Tech teams have gone to Charlottesville - and once or twice in HGF/BDS - and come home on their shields instead of with them.

I've been increasingly worried about a let down game. Hopefully I'm just paranoid due to past experiences as a Tech fan. It wouldn't be the first time a Tech team has been poised to turn a corner only to trip over their own feet.

It seems like this will be Key's first real test at maintaining focus and keeping that edge the players have had for the past couple of games. It would be easy for them to start reading their own newspaper clippings this week what with that monster win streak and being favored in a P5 game for the first time in who knows how long.

A new punter would help the punt team most.

I doubt Key expected to be favored in ANY remaining games, so this will be a nice test of his ability to keep the team focused and not overly impressed with themselves.
