just watching it. This team was not ready to play today. Championship Caliber teams show up to play and beat the hell out of pathetic teams like UNC. This is terrible terrible effort and concentration. Kudos go to Choice and Grant who are the only two people looking like they give a shit.

The D is bending but not breaking, so at least they've kept us in the game. I won't say Reggie doesn't care, but he sure is playing like he doesn't.

I knew it was going to be a long day when on 3rd and 1 on the first drive from mid-field Reggie rolled out had Calvin in the flats with a man on him, and under pressure threw the ball out of bounds instead of trying to let the best WR to ever play the game make a play on the ball.

The effort from both the players and coaches is pathetic. Absolutely terrible. The offensive line is making repeated stupid penalties. The WR are not pulling the balls in. The playcalling has been mind numbingly dumb.

7 points on UNC is a joke. Disgusting. We will get our asses beat by UGA, the Atlantic rep in ACCCG, and whatever bowl we go to. Pathetic, Pathetic, Pathetic.

Oh but a win is a win... that makes me feel better.

Stupid post BOR. Today sucked, no way to sugar coat it. But this game has absolutely nothing to do with the ugag game, and you know it.

We play like we did today, we may have capped out our win total. Abosultely a disgusting effort by our offense and our coaches preparation.

Now that is overreacting IMO. How do you think Michigan felt after barely beating Ball State(a team worse than UNC) or Ohio State barely beating Illinois(probably worse than UNC)? Good teams have off days, today was our off day. Hell look at the prediction thread, everyone was expecting a rather close game.

Ugliest game I have ever seen. 2 awfull QB performances. Both QBs had receivers open everywhere and threw the ball 3 yards away from them.
We didn't touch Dailey in the backfield.
Mistakes all over the place, on both sides.

Tashard and Rashaun did play with guts though.

We need to regroup and get ready for Duke, and put them away early next week.

These kids need to show up and play EVERY GD week. We do not have the ability to relax for anyone, yet we consistently have shown that we cannot get over this horrible trend.

I can't dissagree with that post other than to add kudos to Scott on Def.

Halftime score should/could have been UNC 28-GT 7.

UNC had 2 intercepted from the red zone and two other passes that the receivers should have completed for td's.

No excuse for such sloppy play as this today.

Yes, I realize I'm complaining over a win but it seemed more like UNC lost instead of GT winning.

Sorry for the attitude fellas but that's just the way I saw it.

I'm sure this will be corrected this coming week at practice.

I still say................

YELLOWWWWWWWWW

Ok, overreaction is over. We won, bring on Duke. Lets see if we play down to them too.

Does it concern anyone that we have yet to play a terrible team and give our back-ups lots of reps?

Perfect example of a good team having an off day....look at Auburn getting THUMPED by a team that lost to Vandy AND Kentucky!! and barely beat ole miss, Miss. st, and Colorado!!

I think it was pretty apparent the coaches thought we would run all over them, which we did the first 3 or 4 plays.
After carolina stuffed the box and made RB beat them, well...

It is a good thing we weren't playing Dook today!

If Reggie had a little more touch today, I think the passing game is blown open and we score a couple more times. I don't know what his deal was.

Well, to be fair, the horrible trend in the past was that we would actually lose these games.

I just haven't seen Reggie as off as he was today, not even in the first half of the Miami game. There were more than a couple times where the Johnsons got enough seperation to go for the touchdown and Reggie overthrew them by a few yards.

70 percent of today fell on Reggie, 30 percent of today fell on our OL. As for our defense, they pitched a shutout, held UNC to 211 yards and twice held UNC scoreless in the endzone. I don't care how much of that was UNC's failures; I'm not going to criticize our defense for those stats.

"We play like we did today, we may have capped out our win total"

We do have Duke, we can play poorly and still win. After that, I can agree with you. I hope you can admit this comment was a little overdone.

Yes BOR I'm sure it bothers everyone. But the problem today as far as I'm concerned was Reggie. If he hits just a couple of the open receivers he had, it opens up the running game more and things get easy. We aren't physical enough on the OL just to hand it off every play and dominate many teams, and UNC is big enough that they aren't one of them. If Reggie's problem is that he's hurt (and he looks to me like he's trying to not get hit) then he doesn't need to be playing. If that's not it he simply had an awful day and probably could have used some bench time anyway.

BOR, dude you are a great fan. That said, go have a drink and lighten up. We won and yes it wasn't pretty but WE WON!
