Today I have read many heart rendering post that just makes my heart ache with SOOO many come from the heart feelings of great dispair. Some have told tremendously sad personal stories of their long time love Ga. Tech with family histories. Some these great fans of our program are now going to disassociate themselves from Tech. Some are so distraut with feelings of hopelessness that they see NO chance for improvement. Some are talking about the great expense of supporting our team and now can,t see the wortheness of it. For you people who still think the status quo is a must- read these messages. I have stated what I think many times, but if you didn't my message on how I feel is the topic[A HOUSE DIVIDED]. We are going to loose not only games with the status quo, but also support, money, and recruits. For all you know it alls this years commitments is way below the norm for the past 6 years and it will just get worse!! There is only ONE player who I would consider big time. Read these post and do nothing AND YOU WILL WEEP!!! The many posters who stated their feelings of hpelessness can't all be wrong for are TOO many who feel this way.

Thanks for your thoughts, techrod.

This past Sat. was bad. Honestly, it was real bad. Hurts. Still hurts me as a fan.

Things have not gone as we would have wanted this year. They didn't last year as well.

I don't want to lose to UGA at anything at any time. Getting beat up by them Sat and watching it was terrible. It was terrible when they beat us in football the year before. It was terrible when they beat us in basketball last year as well. Any time they beat us it is bad. Hurts. Can't stand it.

We've lost some games this year we shouldn't have. We've won some games that I'm very proud of as well. Getting our tails beat beyond belief in Athens is embarrassing and no fun to live with.

We've won 7 games this year and lost 5. It hasn't been pretty. It's not the worst and lowest of the lows though. This is our Coaches first year. Good gosh. You can't run him off in one year. Can't in my opinion. To think that if he resigns it would be any more pretty than if he was fired? I think you're sadly mistaken. No matter how it could be handled it would look bad upon Georgia Tech. Yes Sat looked bad as well, but firing or running off a coach in one year would hurt the athletic department more in my opinion. We need some things to change obviously, but we need to fight as fans. Running the coach off isn't the answer at this time. He has my support.

You people want to get all sappy about being a fan and how much this hurts. I respect that. Hurts me too. I've had season tickets since '73. Some have been around a lot longer. Know my father has. I've been here during these times through thick and thin. Some have done it much longer. I'm not a fair weather fan. Can't give up the fight. Can't throw in the towel. It's way to early to do that in regards to Coach Gailey.

You people want to talk about hurt. When my father called me and told me that my mother was in a comma, that was pain and real hurt. She had a horse accident. Was in a comma for three days and past away. That was heart ache and pain that goes beyond serious. Want to know why I'm positive about things and optimistic? That's why. I had to teach myself to look at the good things. That's just one things that's happened in my life. You can do one of two things. You can use things as stepping stones, or you can use them as stumbling blocks. I choose to make hardships in life as stepping stones.

You can't throw in the towel because things haven't gone right.

Believe you me. Anyone that knows me well, knows I want to win. I want to win big.

Running the coach off would be a huge mistake in my opinion. I'm behind him 100%. There are obviously things that need to be fix and should be, but firing the head coach at this time is very premature in my opinion.

Your opinion is respected especially the way you stated it. By the way I am very sorry for your personal loss.
