The bright side is we over-recruited this position by one with Munroe's commitment, the downside is he is a good player and you hate to see someone good that can add depth leave.

also of note peek is transferring to bama....not shedding a tear here.

you know, people may not agree with me...but I take a lot of crap, getting called names, ridiculed for trying to tell people whats going on....so when it finally comes out I am right...i like to say TOLD U SO :D

This disappoints me. He reminded me of Keith Brooking in looks and attitude. I think he'll start for Florida because the kids got Urlacher instinct.
 
Sounds like he thinks he will be playing Hback or FB. Evidently FL is talking about using more of a true blocking back so they can recruit better RBs. Not claiming there's any truth to this, just seems to be what they told him.

I was thinking very "20ozish" myself.
 
From memory Urban runs the shotgun with 1 back. Pridemore must be counting on playing defense.

Not to mention that they've been talking about TJ's de-commitment over on the Hive for about a month. This isn't exactly late-breaking news.

I read on one of the gator boards yesterday that Urban is trying to recruit higher caliber RB's and wants to put in some FB sets to help draw them to UF. Pridemore was apparently sold on the fact that he would be the FIRST FB in Meyer's offense to give this a go.

If only he'd said something about eating a ham sandwich and pounding a coca-cola while driving.

My favorite 20oz story ever was when he tried to tell David Duval what was wrong with his swing in between holes at the Masters several years ago. That story still cracks me up when I see Duval on tv.

These kind of comments have popped up a lot lately as people have decommitted or transfered. I don't get what's so wrong about a kid with no foregone obligation to Tech deciding that somewhere else is better for his goals.

Really, it reeks of ugaggers saying "we never really wanted him" when a prospect commits somewhere else. We don't need to stoop to that level.

And he fell for that pitch? He's probably not smart enough for Tech anyway.
