I've done all I can to support CGC, but I'm finished. I think the motivation the guys showed at Auburn and Miami came all from them - nothing from CCG.
It's these kind of games where the coach must provide some kind of spark. At the pro level, it's different. At the college level, an important part of the job of CCG is to motivate. I just don't see it.
This was humiliating. I've supported our coach for the season and would have nothwithstanding what happened. But now, the season is over and I see we (hell, not we, THEY) made a big mistake renewing his contract.
I feel so bad for Calvin. One of the best players in college fb and he is absolutely ineffectual. Ball cannot get a reasonably catchable pass to him. For his sake, I really hope he reconsiders staying at Tech - he simply deserves better.
I was the good soldier for the season. Now, forget about it. I hope Chan will resign. If he is the good man every one says he is, he will. Otherwise, he's just riding this out until the inevitable happens - he's fired two seasons from now and the program is in shambles.
