I have to wonder what practices will be like this week. I just cannot get over how disinterested Sims looked. And we limit our best RB to 5 carries.

Us playing UCF next week is like sending our kid into a Texas death match against the toughest kid in school.

UCF lost to Louisville. They’ll probably beat us, but there’s no reason to be scared of them.

It’ll be interesting to see if we show some pride and fight or just go through the motions.

As long as Collins is head coach, this team will not do a damned thing. Need to cut the cord with him NOW. Waiting until the end of the season is just doing more damage and will continue to set us back. How TStan got this hire SO WRONG is perplexing. You can smell the "used car salesman" on this clown a mile away. He is FAR WORSE than B*** L****. An absolute atrocity.

We are a worse football team than Louisville. Their QB will scramble for at least 7 first downs (not at the same time, but knowing us, we'd figure a way to make even that happen) after escaping contain.

B*** L**** was awful, but yeah, not this awful. Lewis did manage to go 5-6 in '92 and 5-6 in '93 before being dismissed in '94 after going 1-7.

Looking at our '94 season, here were the results that lead up to his firing-

vs Arizona - L (14-19)
vs WCarolina - W (45-26)
vs Duke - L (12-27)
@ NSSt - L (13-21)
@ UNC - L (24-31)
vs UVA - L (7-24)
@ MD - L (27-42)
vs FSU - L (10-41)

L**** teams were shut out once, @ FSU (0-51) '93.

Water long under the bridge, but I’ve always thought the FSU game in ‘92 was Lewis’ undoing. I believe after that game instead of encouraging the team he lit into them and lost them right then and there.

Until Collins arrived I thought L**** would always be the worst coach in GT history.

I remember a horrible call near the end of the game - and found it.

GT up 24-20, <2:00 4th Qtr. FSU 4th down and Goal, FSU "scored" without the ball crossing the plane.
It occurs at 1:11:00 Live action, 1:14:00 replays.
One of the referees in that game was a friend of my dad - they were both O'Keefe High School alums and grew up Tech fans. He told my dad that yeah, they blew that call.

My friends and I are headed to Florida for that game. We're doing Epcot on Friday, wouldn't mind if the game got cancelled and we got to go Magic Kingdom on Saturday. Would love to ride Splash Mountain one last time.
