A game changer using PJs Spread Triple Option attack.
He turned down U of F as a running back and wanted to play QB. Erk Picked him up and he was "ONE" of big the reason why PJs system became so successful at GSU. We had many great QBs that ran the Spread Triple and won us FCS National Championships but Tracy Ham, IMO, was the total package for Triple Option QB. Ham read the defense, made the right calls, was quick & fast, and could pass.
There has to others like him if GT and Southern look .

If GSUs new Head Coach can duplicate GSUs 2014-15 (pistol option attack) with our new QB, supposedly a duel threat, we should rebound well.

Still I think with the right personnel PJs version is Superior.

Ham did have about an extra 3 months of play on Young though.
Vince Young played starting QB for 3 years, but Tracy Ham started for 3 years & had an extra 3 months before he became the Starting QB at GSU.
