This has been one of the most satisfying seasons while I've been here at tech. We finally got rid of Chan Gailey. We hired a guy who brings intensity, discipline, and ingenuity. Not to mention more wins than all but one season that Chan was here. But most importantly, he brings hope to not only the end of this week but for the future of GEORGIA TECH FOOTBALL! We have proved so many people wrong. I'm proud of how far our boys have come from that horrendous spring game.
People at the beginning of the season said we would only win 4 games. Look at us now.
People were questioning CPJ and his QB after our first loss. Look at us now.
With all that said. I for one think UVA has a legitimate shot at beating VT. UVA has something to play for (not saying VT does) which is bowl eligibility. VT does not have a offense. They gave up the ball 6 times to duke. It can happen. It's the ACC. Everyone that has a shot to put the Coastal Division away has somehow choked. IT CAN BE DONE! It's rivalry. Anything is possible! And if not? I will not be upset (except VT doesnt deserve it) because we have played well.
This week is why I love GT Football. It's good ole' fashion hate! It's the good guys vs. the bad guys. It's family members vs family members. It's smart vs. dumb haha. CPJ knows this and will be coming up with some brilliant plays not seen before. We saw a new one last week with that pass by BeBe. ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE! If all goes well this coming saturday will be a great day in the flats!
