This is what makes me disgusted about college football

I think one of the ideas is that because there is no real leader at the top, nobody is running the team. A bunch of cooks in the kitchen, fighting over everything. If Jimbo is fighting with monster-tits about something, how do they get it resolved? Ask Bobby? Bobby doesn't know what he ate for lunch. Bobby calls his wife, "that old gal who lives at my house." Bobby thinks that his quarterback is Chris Weinke. Bobby thinks that the Daytona 500 is a recruit ranking service. Bobby Bowden drives with his blinker on at all times. You have to have a leader and FSU ain't got one. That's why they're talking about getting Jimbo more authority I'd think.

Prediction:
Jimbo Fisher will take over and clean house, including remving Mickey Andrews. A few seasons afterwards FSU fans will long for the final days of mediocrity and inconsistency under Bobby Bowden.:biggthumpup:

I agree totally. Jimbo Fisher was taught by the Bowdens. He's just more of the same. You are just going to have the same coaching, but you won't have the selling point of Bobby Bowden to recruits.

If St. Bobby wasn't such a slimeball through the years, I'd feel bad for him. In a normal situation, at a normal school, with normal fans, I'd think that there could be an amicable solution to this. But FSU is a football factory parading about as a joke of a college, and St. Bobby is basically getting the returns on the culture he developed. This is what happens when you value winning over integrity. He's sticking around to beat Paterno, but Paterno will die coaching.

I think Paterno is a good comparison in this situation. A few years back, JoePa was getting hammered by the media, but the school stuck by him. He turned it around. Although, having been around Penn State fans, I can see them turning into the vultures that are currently circling the dying man known as FSU football.

I cannot wait to put the final nail in the coffin on Saturday.

Why is it that you feel BB is a slimeball? He's a great man outside of football in case you weren't aware of it.

Maybe I've missed something? How is he a slimeball?

What has he done "slimeballishy" (yeah that's my word) that other coaches haven't?

You are right, I forgot about how much Bobby Bowden has been exuding integrity and class.

Not sure what that has to do with your earlier comment about not letting fans voice their opinions though. But never mind, don't let logic interrupt a good rant.
