There is something very negative brewing between the staff, players, and program.

There is no spirit, no cohesion, discipline, no "fight".

This is not a caliber of player issue. This is a staff not coaching and motivating the team to overcome adversity and selling them on the new direction. These players are far more than merely capable of beating teams like the Citidel, and Temple.

Blaming the players or the hand you were dealt as an incoming staff is literally the worst possible way to handle this.

Fire CGC. I dont care if we go back to 3O or whatever flavor of the month college scheme, it doesn't matter. The espirit de corps is broken and so is this coaching staff.

This isn't going to happen. You might as well call for world peace, or for Michael Moore to stop being fat and stupid.

You have a finite number of breaths to take on this earth, and you're wasting a non-zero number of them to call for a coach to be fired after 4 games.

I know, but it's kinda fun after being booty blasted by fire CPJ bullshit for a decade.

Point still stands...you should be able to motivate a win out of these guys against some of these opponents. The team is demoralized. UNC might win by 4 TDs.

And Saban should have been fired after year one at bama, and Dabo after year two at Cu, or Ross after year 2 at GT, or smart after year one at ugag, or Dodd after year one at GT... the list goes on.

I know you are not serious, because you are no where so ignorant to think any school would pay to do that.

If you don’t want to go out and support the team many will understand.

That and everyone knows CPJ typically recovers to a 9 or 10 win season right about now.

CGC is a Saban or Dabo now? Not just a Ross?

Man. I would hate to be so sold on the change that I stick my head in the sand and don't see where this program is headed. Saban and Dabo brought energy and motivation.

CGC brings demoralization, excuses and objectively bad coaching. Glad you guys are on the excuses band wagon.
 
Ok I am still on the Collins train but Nick Saban had already won an NC as a head coach before landing at Bama so can we please immediately cease any comparisons between the two?

Maybe the next coach will fair better, but not impressed by the character of the staff and team. Say what you want, but there are human factors in football that deal with leadership, motivation, execution and conduct.

This team literally lacks everything. That's a reflection of the staff's attitude towards the "massive overhaul" and conceding a few garbage seasons to get the guys and system they want.

I would hate to be an upperclassman playing for this staff. Saban and Dabo comparisons are hilarious. Those guys motivated and shaped the hands they were dealt during the rebuild, not use them as an excuse for losing to fbs talent.

I see this season as one like baseball when a relief pitcher comes in with the bases loaded. Other team hits a grand slam and it’s 3 runs credited to the one who let them on base. Paul loaded the bases with shitty recruiting - particularly O line.

But you do enjoy “loosing” to some degree. Appears at least about 49 to 50% of the time to P5 schools.
