This just in...Size Does Matter

LOL, I thought that title would get your attention :D

But really, I was just looking at the depth chart for next season and big smile came to my face. Just look at this potential for a “BIG” package, goal line type offense…Hell, we could do it this season minus Watson:

QB – Calvin Booker 6’4” 245 lbs
RB – Richard Watson 6’1” 220 lbs
WR – Demaryius Thomas 6’ 4” 220 lbs
WR – Greg Smith 6’3” 200 lbs
TE – Colin Peek 6’6” 250 lbs
TE – Austin Barrick 6’3” 265 lbs
LT – Andrew Gardner 6’6” 300 lbs
LG – Dan Voss 6’4” 305 lbs
C – Trey Dunmon 6’4” 305 lbs
RG – Jacob Lonowski 6’5” 300 lbs
RT – A.J. Smith 6’7” 300 lbs

Just look at that size. You would have:
  • Godzilla at QB, who also can throw a nice ball
  • A Tailback in a Fullback’s body
  • Two tall, athletic, 200+ lb Wide Receivers
  • Two blocking/pass catching Tight Ends
  • An Offensive Line that averages 6’5” 300+ lbs
* And this is considering that nobody decides to grow between now and next season.

This is Georgia Tech…
This is Georgia Tech scoring lots of Touchdowns in the Red Zone…

Any Questions?

Booker is down to 215 or 220 based on the reports from practice. Which is better because at 245 that is just to big for a QB.

Do you think they'll make AJ and Lonowski lose 15lbs each before next season?
