explains Gailey's mission and goal. I really like this quote:
"We try to do a great job of evaluating guys who can win at this level and get their degree."

I have said before that I believe the members of this recruiting class were carefully picked and offered. Some still turned us down, but I believe that we will see a "special" type of player in the future. I don't think CCG is willing to trade one for the other. There is no doubt in my mind that he is here to win games and championships. I may be reading too much into one quote, but it really gets me excited about the future. On another note, he doesn't need Braine going to bat for him and lowering the standard and expectation.
Here is the link to the article that otherwise doesn't say anything new except the "signing day festivities" and that aub., clem, and ugag will not be alloted additional tickets after expansion is complete. (but we all know that they end up with them anyway if GT fans don't buy and show.)
Macon T&N article

Excellent article, Spelling, thank you very much. It is a good quote from Gailey. How come none of these quotes that wind up in Macon, Savannah & Columbus papers don't get in the Atlanta paper? Is this writer the only one who interviews Gailey?(it is picked up by all 3 when they want to & Macon always does).
Braine must've had a lot of pressure from big-time supporters to say something public & appear to be on top of things with his evaluations. I truly hope Gailey can do this major college football thing or Braine will be in one awful situation in December.
As these 2 longtime season ticket holders state "I'm concerned & hopeful". That's me too. There is a large volume of GT fans that are very concerned. Do not dismiss them as 'pessimists' just because of their concerns. They're our Tech brothers & they have very good points. The large majority will be pulling in the same direction come Dec.

Spelling I agree with you. Thanks for the link. Like what Coach Gailey had to say as well.

Some interesting comments from Alums in Macon that I enjoyed reading. Believe I have similar outlooks as ones quoted.

Go Jackets!
