This Year\'s Bowl

There been much discusion about this Emerald Bowl and how we were shanked.......... Well, this is the way it is and it ain't gonna change this season, so let's just make the best of it. Could be one day the Emerald Bowl will be as significant as the Rose Bowl, who knows what the future holds. Then our guys can stand up and make claim to playing in that bowl in it's infancy. My hat is off to our team, especially the seniors for being able to say that "we went to a bowl every year". That accounts for a whole lot since we see our neighbor Tennessee isn't even going to any bowl. This fact alone kind of shoots in the foot the argument over recruiting and needing/filling bigger stadiums etc.
It's time now for us as fans to now unite behind our players and coaches, to show support for them.
We need to be doing all we can to help build enthusiam in the minds of our team right now.

UT had a losing season is why they aren't going, or any team with a losing season for that matter.

Find alternative ways to support the kids. 4 out of 5 out west is a spit in the face.

Nothing will change with a scumbag like swofford there. They are still pissed about the acc BB tourney and about schools like ours for pushing expansion. They stuck it to BC and GT.

You gonna sit there and take it forever?

Tex, I won't debate this issue with you. I'm saying we just need to get behind these guys going out there to represent Ga Tech, and support them. If the team ever reads these posts that are presented, it may take some wind out of their sails and I, as well as you I'm sure, would hate for that to happen. To my knowledge, this website is open for any S/A to read at will. I think we may need to be careful how we speak about our feelings. If anyone here has a beef, and I know there are, why not just take it to the Athletic Director directly. I can't promise it would do any good but at least you could let him know how he stands among the people paying his salary. I can't imagine that if as many posters here were to send their complaints to DB directly that it would not do some good. Can you?

Have tried to talk to clough and he is hiding behind a skirt.

won't buy tickets for clough/braine to have that kind of vacation. Would rather get the money to the players directly instead.

what they don't know, well I don't care if it hurts the NCAA clough/braine or what.

Hell, we are on NCAA probation now because a kid took Physics instead of Biology!!!!!

I choose to help the kids if I can.
