We may not have one of the top 5 teams in the country but at least our shoes don't fall apart and take out our best player...36 seconds into the biggest hyped game of the year to date.

I think it would be classic if he comes back on the court with Gorilla Tape on his shoes to hold the soles together...after he recovers from the sprained knee, of course.

...and the reason I quit buying any of their öööö many years ago, especially the shoes. Low quality and way over valued.

I think it's been rebranded as the new "Blowout" model.

I worry about the people in the factory that made that shoe. No, not kidding.

May be best thing to happen to GT basketball in 10 years. All the talk will be about paying players & one and dones. Maybe NBA will allow the jump straight from high school again. We can't sniff a one & done but would make Puke & the Blue Bloods of college basketball lose all those lottery picks.

Eh, I don't see how that really helps us. It's not as if Duke, Kansas, etc. were having a hard time landing recruits before 2006. What it means is that around half of the top 30 players each year will no longer be in play, but the same 6-8 programs will continue to fight for the remainder AND set their sights on the guys a tier below them much more than they currently do. They're still going to end up with the best classes every year.

Perhaps it narrows the talent gap between the best and worst teams in p5 leagues, but it won't positively affect us in relation to our competition imo.

That’s why I wear the old man New Balance. I am convinced Roy had Nike make that shoe for Zion.

More proof that we live in a society made up of victims, and someone out there has to pay, even if it's an 8 yr old.

Nah...just making an observation about an aspect of current day society's victim mentality and those that should be held responsible for the victimizing.
