Sad thing is, neither one cracked down hard on their offenders (a la, scUM). And we wonder why this kind of thing happens on the college level as well? Don't you think the FSU, VT, and scUM kids are watching what happens in the pros and behaving accordingly?
Isn't it obvious, even to them, that when guys like Maurice Clarett, Marcus Vick, Haynesworth, PacMan, etc. get drafted, there are no moral character criteria being used by the NFL?
The scUM/FIU fight aftermath was a great opportunity for the NCAA/ACC to take the opportunity to quash this kind of thing, but folded under the $$$$ pressure.
