all lopsided it seems

I see two competitive games, both on Friday:
Boston College at NIU
Colorado State at Colorado (Denver Broncos Stadium)

Whom to root for Friday night?

Fighting Mike Bobos?

OR

Fake 1990 champs?

We get to watch UCF play first thing on Thursday, which is okay I guess.

Please do not forget Tulsa at Oklahoma State, which is an upset.

There's also Navy @ Lane Kiffin on Friday.

And Washington at Rutgers could actually end up being the most lopsided match of the season.

Looking to see if Ohio State's offense has regressed from their last game

It's THURSDAY!

Just a few hours until some more games...

Time is definitely moving too slow.

Indiana will destroy an Ohio State University.

Subtle...you never know with these openers though. Road game against a conference foe in the opener. IU fans won't have their spirits already crushed like they do for a normal mid-season conference game.

Also, it feels like Thursday night on the road is where ranked teams have gone to die the last decade or so.

Last year we had a week 0 consisting of just Cal vs Hawaii in Australia. That was p bad.

Thursday we had #9 UT and #19 Louisville in action, both against much smaller foes, one of which turned out to be a thriller. We had SCar / Vandy to open up the first conference play, and Oregon State / Minnesota to follow that up.

Friday we had #8 Stanford, #12 Michigan State (LOL) and #23 Baylor (lel) against much smaller foes, with Colorado State / Colorado to follow it up (both were considered hopelessly bad at the time, but Colorado turned out okay, and it's a rivalry game).

Difficult to compare, really, but comparable, really.

Those aren't that bad, still nothing exceptional compared to this year though. Week 1 Thursdays have come a long way over the last decade or so.
