It’s been a contentious week on Stingtalk, but now it’s time to turn our attention to the one thing that brings us all together: bad AAC football!

Had no idea Roddy was commanding calls on his own if that’s the case.
 
I hate that Hairy Dwag is showing up in commercials and stuff. Buzz used get a good bit of media love, but for some reason we’ve decided to deemphasize him in the last few years.

That was a real cheap roughing the passer. He didn’t swing at him, contrary to what the rules guy said - looked like he just had his arm up trying to bat down the pass.

That’s a TD, but they don’t have the camera angle to reverse the call.

This game has it all, including a QB getting stuck in the opposing team’s medical tent after getting run out of bounds.

Deemphasizing Buzz is just another tradition that seems to have gone by the wayside. I don't know if that's Collins' doing or TStan's doing, but one or both of them is destroying our brand.

They’ve done away with introducing Buzz and letting him do his thing in the field, too. Buzz is a great mascot, dunno why we’d want to deemphasize him.

Weirdly, the announcer in the ECU just pulled out Reggie Ball as an example of the opposite of a physically large QB.

Back from Greenville, somewhat cold, wet, and tired, but glad the Pirates are 4-4. They had won 3 games and 3 games only in each of the last five seasons Just an interesting side note - the long time PA announcer at ECU football and basketball is Holton Ahler’s father. He’s a good one and it is fun to hear him announce his son’s games.
