The win over AWBUN was wonderful and we can love it forever, but it's time to start showing your support for this thinly sized crew for the upcoming game w/FSU. If it were possible to give a team the ability to win by building them up, then let's get back to building. AWBUN is behind, FSU is ahead. Anything and everything that you can muster up to say or do for GT FB team, let's get at it.

Rome, confidence is what this team has needed. Its removing the V-6, and replacing it with a new V-12. That's what the fans (us) are here for.

I have a really good feeling that Chan, Tenuta, Geiss, Nix, Spencer, et. al. have been burning out the bulbs since Sunday giving our new courageous yellow britches a game plan that gives us our best chance.
We will not be outcoached. f$u will look past us to Colorado.
Go Jackets! Shock the *******s!!

Thank you for the POSITIVE post. I think some of these people who constantly post their trivial BS should get a grip!

If this is the official positive thoughts thread, here goes.

1. Tenuta has done well against FSU. IIRC in recent history UNC has only been competitive against FSU when he was there. Big differences in the scores for UNC vs FSU the year before, during, and the year after IIRC. Then he comes here and Gergia Tech's D keeps GT in the game until the end (I was there, we had no O).

2. Jones is not going to outrun our D unless we have some bad angles, and that is not true of many Defenses FSU will face. If you take out the 44 yard run, his YPC was not all that good against Maryland. IMHO, the guys they have hurt would have given us real problems, but we should be able to stop Jones enough (no doubt Jones will get some yards with his power) to make Rix beat us. I know FSU is deep, but Reid is fourth string for a reason. There is a drop off from the 1st to the 4th string, even at FSU.

3. We have the speed at WR to get the separation required for the deep ball to work. If Ball and Smith/Curry are on next Saturday we have a real legit chance to beat this team with a few big plays and solid D.

I agree with Rome and George. Quit fussing about what color uniforms they wear, and what color helmet goes nicely on an chilly fall afternoon. Or even worse that the damn stadium looks "out of square." I don't care what color they wear(except red), or if they play in the parking lot of the Varsity. I am concerned with the name on the front of the jersey and that is it.

NUFF SAID.............GO JACKETS
