Kerry Watkins. 2 5th yr Srs who've been through & seen a lot. Clinkscales, especially, is in his 5th yr & hasn't been able to get on the field hardly at all. Gordon had his best game EVER with 5 runs for 81 yds, including a 51 yarder, & another catch for 5 yds. Of course, he gets bitten by the injury bug. Thanks Gordon for hanging & doing something special when given the chance.
Kerry Watkins had another outstanding game with 9 snags for 129 yds. Kerry is continuing to make plays & fight for every yd, even when others are not. Super solid yr. Keep trying for that career record for TD catches (only 4 to tie & 5 to break).

ur right GT ACE. players like Clinkscale and Hollings were floundering under O'Leary.

Clinkscale was always in the dog house. Hollings was wasting away as a back up safety.

Hmmmm

Methinks maybe those Chan player testimonials may really shed some light.

They said CG could make the most of player's abilities

Hollins and Gordon hidden by O'Leary
Hollins and Gordon break out under Chan

maybe there IS reason to hope

Clickscales rushes for 87 yards on a mere 5 runs. Why is he not given the ball 30 times? Why is the GT offense so pass happy? Why does our offensive coaching give up on he run so easy?

I don't think Clink could carry the ball anywhere near 30 times. I agree that he should of gotten the ball more though. With our RB situation, I think we need to rely more on short, ball control passes.

That is a big maybe. We were not desperate for running backs under O'leary like we have been this year due to injuries.
Also, almost all new coaches will find a player or two due to a position change. For example, if Chan was fired after this year (unlikely to happen but needs to be done) and a new coach came in...he might move Reuben Houston to running back or Dawan Landry back to QB or any number of moves that might work out great. But that would not make it reasonable to criticize Chan for not moving them any more than it is reasonable to criticize O'leary for not doing it.
Every team in America has players at one position that could do great at another position.

I predicted before the season that Clinkscales would make a big play this yr for us.Unfortunately it really made so little difference in game.
I'm now waiting on my other wish prediction that the the Tight ends(esp Foschi)would have a big receiving yr.Boy,did I miss that one.
