if we can contain Greene like we did Rivers and play tough against the run, we can beat these guys. Reggie, PJ, Smith, and Curry need to have a good day. We just could not seem to overcome that 13 pt. deficit today and VA executed their gameplan to perfection.

Play as well as we did against NCSU? No offense, but you are kidding right? Ugag is a deep south football team, not one of those whine & cheese or snob No. Car ACC teams. This is why our program has gone down, no small thanks to Dodd. You do not beat ugag by thinking you are accomplishing something beating the N.C, Md, or Va schools. They stink for the most part. If we play like we did against NCSU we will lose by 30. Our expectations need to bee refocused on the things that really matter on the field and beating the current ACC teams (except FSU & CU) will not cut it. We are in deep south football country and we need to start remembering that. THWG

Kindof like that sissy school from MD beating the crap out of TENN in the Peach Bowl last year, RIGHT? Let's see, it was just a couple of years ago that UNC took AUB to the woodshed in the PEACH. Now let's see, what was the name of that ACC school that beat AUB by two TD's this year?
If UAB can just about do it, we can DO IT!!

With our pathetic offense we will need a fumble recovery for a TD, an interception for a TD, a punt return for a TD, & a kickoff return for a TD to beat the pups because our offense will not score more that 6 points. Chan needs to bring in some offensive & defensive line studs this year & dump our offensive line coach. O'Leary left the cupboard bare in this area & we will continue to struggle until this need is filled.

IMO, we beat State because we played as well as we could against Rivers, AND because McClendon did not play.

After rewatching the tape this morning, one thing is clear. If you want to beat Tech, you follow the Clemson offensive plan, as long as you have the players.

Spread the field with short throws in the flat to the tightends and backs. Once that is established, and Tech adjusts the best it can, you can run between the tackles, and take the passing game up top, down the middle.

If UVA had a better redzone offense, which they don't, and ugag does, the snobs would have scored in the 40's yesterday.

Ugag has all the ingredients to provide a mis match against our defense. Here's to hoping that the dogs do something stupid in their game planning.

SG, the PEACH bowl? OK, what about us in the PEACH bowl vs lsu, or uvag vs ugag, or umd in the ORANGE bowl? Whatever, I am talking about week in to week out, every game. If we continue to think we are doing something by beating teams north of Clemson we will go farther down the competitve slope. THWG
