Reported on DJ Donley and how he has not only being recruited by a elite bunch of schools but also by Tech recruit Willie White of Camden County.

Furthermore both Jacoby Monroe and Mario Butler have been recruiting the 5 star D'Angelo McRay....a 'soft' verbal of the Florida Gators into joining them at Georgia Tech!

I have a sneaky suspicion that we are close to switching McRay's mind.

Anyway, big hand to all our recruits and the extra effort they have been putting into our recruiting. Obviously selfishness is not a part of our kids character or they wouldn't be going to so much trouble on their on. And you can bet the house that a recruit selling other recruits on Tech are the type you don't have to worry about abandoning their commitment....Threet, White, Monroe, Jackson....to name a few.

Great points slj! Very encouraging to see that we are recruiting guys who are great athletes AND great people. I am also encouraged when I think about the friendship/comradery (sp?) that these guys are coming in with. It's just an incredible base to start with.

Wouldn't it be great to be considered the big piece in any recruiting class? Obviously it would. But these kids don't seem to care about that. Or about recruiting other kids that they one day could be competing with for playing time.....i.e. White-Donley at wide receiver and Monroe-McRay on the defensive line.

This is what I call being very unselfish and these kids are to be commended for it.

I thought White will be playing Safety?

I knew someone would say that. ;)

White is listed as a reciever on the commitment list and Scout says he is is good enough that he could play offense or defense at Tech.

And notice I said they could be recruiting future teammates that one day would be competitors for playing time.
