GA Tech Scoop: We hear that O' Brein and Walker (Northwestern) are top candidates, but that O'Brein met with GT officials this morning and was offered a 7 year, $10 million contract. We hear the June Jones only put his name out to get a bigger contract from Hawaii.

can anybody validate the info from footballscoop.com?? The more I mull it over the more nervous I get. I like O'Brien -- but I think there is better out there for Tech. Also, I DON'T WANT OUR O'BRIEN AND KELLEY GOIN' ANYWHERE!!!!!!!!

As hard as it will be to swallow, I fear we are going to lose AT LEAST one too many assistants. IF we keep a couple good ones, we'll be doing well.

It DOES seem from all indications (ESPN, 680 the fan, etc) that O'Brien is NOT going to be new HC. The hot names now are Taafe and J. Robinson.

We'll see what names pop up tomorrow! (Is it just me or is this speculation stuff wearing a bit thin).
