I did just read Ole Miss's leading receiver is out and Judkins is questionable. I have to believe we can have some success offensively but until Tech's D starts showing the ability to make tackles, swarm to the ball and bring some tenacity, I just can't share the confidence...but I sure hope you're right mover.

I know the defense has been lackluster to this point, but I just have to believe we are that bad. We lost some good players but I also think good replacements were brought in and they just haven’t performed yet.

I think he was trying to go way out of his way to avoid any references to his idiot predecessor such as "First thing I did was turn us back into a football team" or "Yeah, at practice, we started practicing actual football" or "I actually listen to my coaching staff instead of thinking I know everything". It didn't exactly work but pretty sure that's what he was up to.
