Tony Elliott to Duke?

I would think Duke would be at the bottom of any successful coordinator's list of HC opportunities. I'd rather take a non-P5 job. Really tough to win at Duke.
It's tough to win but expectations are lower than some hungry G5 teams

Agreed but if he gets some Franklin Vandy magic and wins 7, he’s looking at a Big 10/SEC job and gets straight PAID

In the entire history of Duke football, only once has the head coach been hired away to a bigger program (Spurrier).

That’s about the same batting average as Vandy. I’m not saying he’s going to Penn state but a Maryland, Mizzou or Illinois isn’t out of the question if he can win.

Good coach? Maybe. After his co-OC left, then Sunshine left, things haven’t looked so great.
He’s still good, they just lost every piece on their offense that they’ve built. They’re left with a shell of what they were.

They’re in better shape than we are and Sims was objectively a better QB than DJ. Both are the same class. We lost our most important piece on offense for a combined six games or so and felt it.
