We gave them our game thanks to turnovers - Today they had 6 versus none for NC State. It's incredible that they could play so poorly in such a huge game.

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy than Butch Davis, after he had Yates still trowing for the end zone at the end against us.

Seems like CPJ learned a little lesson by not seriously going for a TD on our last real drive against ThugU, after he caught grief from the Duke game and learned how it felt against UNC.

anyone catch the announcers on State's last touchdown from the one with maybe 2 minutes left? Said something to the effect of "if a football coach has any class, he takes three knees and turns the ball over on downs, lets the clock run, the game is not in doubt". State promptly took it in the endzone, as they should have.

Golden rule applies here. After Butch's display of "class" against us, throwing on 4th, this is exactly what he deserves and I hope every coach he goes against does the exact same thing. The announcers for this game were embarrassingly clueless as far as football is concerned.
