We thought they would get to rest or maybe they did, but CPJ is going to work em hard!! I can hear the screams from the Flats right now... He already yelled at Phil Smith "WHat are you stupid?!?"

Sorry but I believe we need to quit installing any new plays or wrinkles. Scrap everything on O that we dont have down 100% and spend every minute of practice time learning how to block. Might not be a bad time to see if Wommack can pull a 3-4 D out of his rear and install it in a week or two.

Honestly I dont like watching the option, it just pisses me off seeing the same play over and over. The dive getting stuffed is horrible to watch, we try to beat people with BS plays that kills our QB running up the gut. I would rather see a Spread Option out of the gun, we gotta find ways to get the playmakers the ball in the open field.

i dont know if we have the nose to do it Barnes could be too fatigued for it to work but hell ill try a 3-4 to get some pressure

Think a 3-4 could get better pressure on the passer?

Yes, better athletes out there. The DT's arent doing anything anyways. I say but Morgan, Barnes, and Peters out there on the Line with Jefferson, Griffin, Sylvester, and AT Barnes.

I think AT could rush at the end spot better then what we are getting now. Griffin has also gotten abused 2 straight games, we miss Kyle Jackson. I would like to see Sylvester overtake Griffin.

Disagree.

I understand being pissed off at plays being stuffed, but extreme enjoyment on frequent big runs. Keeping Ds honest with gut runs are smart - plus if it's the good read it can break big.

Good reads and Big blocks get the ball to playmakers in the open field - shotgun not necessary.

I don't like watching our offense when our OL gets stuffed and we constantly make bad blocks and reads. I love the option ran well like against Miami and UGA. We look slower on offense.
Our defense is hard to watch. That is the most disappointing thing right now.

I just like balanced offenses. Not relying on a long run play. Its either get a long run play or be stuffed, then throw hail marys. Some underneath passes to our playmakers or something would be nice, just some kind of variety. Dwyer getting stuffed is not fun to watch, he can't get loose with our OL.

i think Julian Burnett prolly over slyvester but just my opinion

they play diff positions, I don't think you can scrap and go from a 4 2 5 to 3 4 in 1 week. The lineup looks better with the 3-4 though. I'd like to see Peters back at DE especially with Hall out for a while. Peters went from an average DE to a bad DT.

AT needs to play more as well, it was baffling that we stayed in 5 db's when they went 2 TEs and 2 RB's

Our OL looks terrible, how many former walkons do we have starting? No way in heck we should have walkons starting. Sellers is about the size of some LB's, he's only like 260.

True True.

I don't really like relying on 4th down interference calls and pseudo holding calls to advance the ball either - that part blows.

Your right on the underneath stuff - if Allen is going to be 5 yards up the field on a clueless block...why not have him focus on catching the ball instead...?

Is it a good thing that Wright's blocks on the perimeter are better for Dwyer than O-line blocks? Jeez...

I do recall PJ saying after last season that he has run a 3-4 in the past if it better fit his personnel. Don't know about switching mid season though.

Shoot Morgan could do better holding the middle as a nose in the 3-4 than our DT's are doing.
