Curious about the backstory here. It doesn't look like we tried to recruit him out of high school even though he was in our backyard. Looks like he has good size.
Doesn't look like he played for Kansas last year so probably will be depth or scout team for us this year.

Corey Robinson II is a 6-5, 265-pound Offensive Tackle from Roswell, GA.247sports.com
Hopefully he's put on some weight.
He has. I think more like 290 now. This may be why we weren't in on him out of high school.
Most of the Ivys offered him out of high school, so he must be pretty sharp.
Hopefully he can develop into a good player. We definitely need bodies/depth given how poorly we’ve managed the OL
Yes and no... 290 is good, if he is mobile and the offense uses a lot of "pull the guard" type plays. If your offense is just smash forward and win the LOS, then 290 may be too small. For GT's offense.. Given, from what I've seen, has been the win the LOS type. New OC... I cannot say I know enough about Long, to determine, how he handles the O-line.290 is still pretty small.
