Transfer: RB Dylan McDuffie

Is he the dude that went off that one game? I remember one of the Buffalo running backs going ham one game.

Hope the Southern Humidity doesnt hit him too hard, maybe hes taking reps in a Sauna somewhere to acclimate. September in ATL is no September in Buffalo.

I actually kind of remember that now that you mention it. I will look into this. Good memory, dude.

After slogging thru a bunch of stat piles, it seems you may be thinking of Jaret Patterson who put up insane numbers in 2019 and 2020 (19 rushing TD in both years) incl 8 TD against Kent St. Yes. Eight touchdowns in a single game. Oh, and he scored two TD in a win against Temple in 2019.

That’s who I was thinking of, I knew one of the Buffalo running backs had an insane game that was historic.

When Key trains our OL not to bludgeon our RBs to death with their helmets for daring to seek holes for a few yards, I'll allow myself some excitement about any backfield recruit.

Any insights on why he transferred? Where in the depth chart does he project?

Folllowed his RB coach whom he had a great relationship with. Chance to play at a higher level than Buffalo.

Would be surprised if he isn’t the lead back in terms of usage given he is Daniels guy and has experience getting 15-20 Touches a game. Dontae will play a ton as well and be your big play guy; Hall will get the rest of the action and be your special teams returner.

I figured dontae was a lock to start. Thanks for the info.

RB squad will be good. Hall was a gamer at UofL, I follow them since I went there, so I'd watch their games when Tech wasn't on or switch during commercials. Let's just hope the O line can gel and Sims can stay consistent. Lots to be excited about on offense.
