anybody know how this works now? is there a deadline for getting in portal? signing period? in normal times limit to official visits? etc.
 
As long as you can enroll in time for the fall you should be good to go. Of course most coaches want you in the program as early as possible. Usually a spike after bowl season and again after spring practice. When they find out the starting job they were promised went to someone else.
