I know Penn State and Big 10 are bad - but this USC team is terrific. BCS sometimes clarifies for us quite well who should be #1. This year - No.

I realize that at least one poll demands voters vote for winner of the BCS Championship game. But, there is no need to insist that the Okla-UF 1 winner is a clear champion over USC, Texas (if they win convincingly over Buckeyes). Even the Sugar Bowl winner deserves to be in the mix. (Imagine if Akla squeaks by UF and Bama rolls, or, if Utah beats Bama by 21 and Florida wins over Okla). I am hoping the pollsters will give us a split championship as a clear reminder that some years the BCS just can't slear it up for us
 
I don't know about deserving to be in THE game

but, I agree with Lee Corso that U.S.C. top to bottom is the best in the land.
 
Lol, you forgot the actual controversy: Texas! They actually beat oklahoma by 10! If Texas beats Ohio State handily, it doesn't even matter who beats who in the championship game, Texas is still screwed over.

USC definitely deserves a split championship now that pac-10 is unbeaten in bowls.

I think that U.S.C. is the one team in the country that could slow down and possibly shut down that UF offense. Give Pete Carroll 4 weeks to prepare and I think Carroll and the Trojans would shut down UF and win.
