Tuberville out at Auburn

That is short sighted and dumb, if you ask me. But then again, they never seemed to really like Tuberville there, anyway. I knew AU fans who weren't happy with him even after the undefeated season. Beats 'Bama 6 in a row, 85-40 record. Hmmm...
 
There aren't enough good coaches to hire. Who are they going to get? Demand for new coaches is high and the supply is low.
 
Reported that Leach is interested if they are. Can't really "see" his offensive style there but while the winds of change er a blowin', why not?

There's another D1 coaching change or two.

You know who's probably thinking right now, I've really overstayed my welcome here? Bobby Petrino. He has experience with midnight rides to Auburn anyway.

The only decent explanation for the move is if Mike Leach or another coaching superstar would definitely take the offer if they fired Tuberville.
 
This has to be a knee jerk reaction to Alabama's success this year. There's no way Auburn fires their coach 4 years after an undefeated season if Alabama is not in the MNC race. NO WAY.
 
UALA and AUB fans are psychotic to begin with--this is a typical knee jerk reaction from a delusional fan base that has NO grip on reality--whoever they hire is hitching a ride on a downhill run--and I for one will enjoy their FALL!!
 
Dodd appears to be grasping at straws here. I can't see any truth to that.

I don't understand. Why would Auburn hire a coach whose system won't work in the SEC when they play in the SEC?
 
Seems like a good time to give PJ a GOOD Christmas bonus or a huge RAISE!!--or BOTH!!
 
This is ridiculous. Tuberville is a really good coach. There's probably only 3 coaches better in the ACC: Butch, Beamer and CPJ, and only 3 in the SEC: Saban, Meyer, Richt.

Auburn deserves to be stuck with 4-8 seasons if they fire him.
 
Paul Johnson is not going anywhere.

Bobby Petrino, on the other hand, has had his phone with him at all times since Alabama went up by three scores.
 
And by the way, Auburn is full of absolute morons for firing Tuberville. Seriously. Total and complete jackasses. I have an Auburn friend that told me days ago that if Tubs got fired, he may start pulling for us.

Yeah Bobby Lowder? he was also the one who booted Terry Bowden just a couple years removed from an undefeated season. This is right up Petrino's alley but Id be wary if I were Leach
