Tulane coach

He's lucky he can still articulate that. A week from now Brian VanGorder will be in a vegetative state. And it's only going to get worse as the season progresses. Pray for Frank Beamer.

Tulane board is asking for his head btw. A lot of them mad about losing money on Tulane to cover. This öööö sounds serious.

We shouldn't lose 65-10 to the Patriots....but at this point we'd probably lose to the John Curtis Patriots.

I'd guess they'd lose more on the 222-0 side if they played the actual Patriots.

also a good one:

I haven't followed Tulane football since childhood to read about our being in such sudden awe of flippin' Duke and Georgia Tech that they don't want to try and compete with programs like that. Did they forget we led Georgia Tech last year 21-14 in the middle of the game. The two teams aren't that different a year later. It isn't the opponent that is the problem.

Ok, Tulane. Let's not get too big in the britches.

Tulane's coach seems to be a good fella, but Tulane could really win some games if they went a different direction and hired a coach like Bohannon.

The scouting report on Lee was spot on, btw. He held the ball too long on passing plays.

Was the man a child in the 1930's? Because that's the last time that team was relevant. They've been to three bowl games the entire time I've been alive.

It was probably noted Tulane alum and Tech hater Steak Shapiro

Coit remembers Tulane's glory years shortly after Andrew Jackson fought in the Battle of New Orleans.
