Tulane had 9 players on field for long Jordan TD

Didn't they run a player off the field right as the play was snapped? I seem to remember wondering why a penalty wasn't called for too many players on the field. May have been a different play, but I am thinking it was that one.

With 8:25 to play in the fourth quarter and Tech ahead 51-10, the Yellow Jackets took the field for a 1st-and-10 from their 35 with their customary 11-man alignment. Tulane countered with nine.

:laugher:

And here I was just thinking our blocking worked unnaturally well on that play...

That makes me a sad panda. I was really hoping the play was executed to perfection.

Well, 11 guys we pulled out of the stands against 9 guys from their first string is still pretty good.

Not one of the 9 touched him on the play. They wouldn't have even gotten the tackle if it were one handed touch football. Impressive.
