Turning Point in Tonight's Game?

OK, it doesn't really count as a turning point, since we were already behind 7-0, but we had a chance to come out in the second half, receiving the kickoff, with a modified game plan and a chance to get right back in the game. Two rushes and a penalty put us in 3rd and long, we punted, got a 15-yard penalty on the return, and they got the FG to go up 10.

I've never been impressed with CG's ability to make adjustments at halftime - This was more of the same. Even knowing that, I didn't feel too bad going into the locker room at halftime only down one score, knowing we'd get the ball first in the second half - Kind of wishful thinking, huh?

Turning point was after we closed it to 17-7 then we gave up a 50+ yd. TD.

Absolutely, the thing that hurts even more was that it was on 3rd down and two guys missed tackles. Those two guys just happened to be arguably our two best players on defense.

I agree. Especially with how that play went down. K Hall had a great chance to drop Spiller for a loss and force a 4th down. Instead we go down 24-7.

EDIT: Doh, TechGator beat me to it. Damn me checking the play-by-play.

I think Pretty much anything that happened after that constitutes garbage time.

I feel like we quit at that point. The game may had already been over, but our spirits were crushed at that exact moment. You could see it in K-Mike's face, right there in High Definition.

I thought the turning point was when we didn't capitalize in the red-zone on our 2nd(?) drive. We failed to put any points on the board, and I felt as if we got kinda down after that.

Agree.
Big shift of momentum for cu. I will have to check, but after the miss started our quarter and a half of offensive 3 and outs.
Reggie became frantic and stayed frantic when cu shut down his designed runs. He looked and played like a caged animal. That was the everlasting turning point.
Very happy to have stayed at home for this one.

Three TD's given up by the run.

Never would I have believed this.

UC must be much better than I originally thought.

To me, it was when we got to 17-7. I just kept thinking - "We can do this. We've beaten this score before. Remember 2004" but when they broke loose once again, I just wanted to lay down.
